Frequently Asked Questions

What AIQ Insight™ does, the data behind it, and how to get started.

What is AIQ Insight?

AIQ Insight™ is an AI decision-support intelligence layer for the U.S. corporate bond market. It's built to deliver fast answers, portfolio-aware context, and workflow efficiency without crossing into autonomous execution. Ask questions in plain English, about the market or your portfolio, and get accurate, evidence-grounded answers in seconds, instead of stitching together terminal commands, screens, and spreadsheets.

Who is AIQ Insight for?

Fixed income professionals: portfolio managers, traders, sales, and operations teams. Portfolio managers use it to construct and rebalance bond portfolios; traders, sales, and ops use it for discovery and search, relative value, liquidity intelligence, and execution analytics.

How is it different from a traditional terminal workflow?

Terminals were built for human analysts: command mnemonics, screen-hopping, and Excel. A single complex multi-CUSIP question can take 20 to 45 minutes. AIQ Insight answers the same question in 10 to 15 seconds through plain-English conversation, with every figure traced to a named, auditable source.

What data sources power AIQ Insight?

It is built on institutional-grade data, including FINRA TRACE transaction data, CUSIP Global Services reference data, Moody's credit ratings, and Treasury benchmarks and macroeconomic series from FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis).

How many bonds does it cover?

AIQ Insight covers 172,000+ U.S. corporate bonds, searchable by issuer, CUSIP, sector, grade, coupon, or maturity.

Can I trust the answers? How accurate is it?

AIQ is engineered for evidence-grounded answers: every figure traces to a named, auditable source. A regression evaluation gate blocks any release that would degrade answer accuracy, completeness, or style, and governance guardrails keep every answer attributable and in-license.

The model does not do the math; calculations like yield, duration, DV01, spreads, and portfolio analytics are deterministic and run through in-house calculators. Market-data answers are grounded in structured queries against named source datasets, not semantic guesswork. Every response is traceable. AIQ captures the full trace of the response path, including tool calls, returned data, source attribution, timestamps, and model versioning.

AIQ's posture is that the user and firm remain responsible for the investment decision; the platform provides information and analytics, not fiduciary judgment. The key proof point is reproducibility of the exact response context for review and escalation.

Is there an API?

API access is on the roadmap for Q3 2026, letting you embed AIQ intelligence directly into your own systems and workflows. The web UI is available today.

Can this be deployed in a more isolated setup?

Yes — dedicated environments, private connectivity, and client-aligned key and network design are part of enterprise pilot scoping.

Do you cover municipal bonds?

Municipal bond coverage is planned for Q4 2026, across both the UI and the API. Today, AIQ Insight focuses on U.S. corporate bonds.

Is my data secure?

Yes. AIQ Markets is SOC 2 Type II. You can review our security practices on the Security page and in our Trust Center. The data lives in AIQ-managed AWS, with current third-party components including Snowflake, Neo4j Aura, Clerk, and OpenAI embeddings.

Customer data is never used for model training. Inference is routed through managed cloud platforms rather than directly to model-provider APIs for core generation.

Some sensitive functionality still relies on third-party services, especially Neo4j Aura for the knowledge graph and Vertex AI for parts of inference today. PrivateLink, dedicated deployments, and some enterprise-hardening controls are target-state or pilot-scoped items, not universal current-state defaults. OpenAI is currently used for document embeddings.

How much does it cost? Is there a free trial?

AIQ Insight is available today with a one-month free trial. Our pricing covers Individual and Professional plans, and we offer bespoke enterprise and multi-seat licensing on request.
